Your heart hurts so badly. I know.

Hey, I'm Jenny. I've been where you are. My heart hurt so much I didn't know if it could ever be put back together. I'm not perfect, and I'm not fully healed. I'm a friend a little further down the grief road, sharing what I've learned in case it helps you.

If you're in the first days

You don't have to feel strong.

Numb, angry, afraid, empty, all of it is allowed.

You don't have to understand why.

God can handle your questions.

You don't have to do this alone, or all today.

One small step is plenty.

Who's writing to you

I'm Jenny Leavitt. Our son died, and our family has been learning to live with that ever since. Whatever way you lost someone you love, I understand a little of how heavy this is. Everything on this site comes from walking that road, and from the truths in God's Word that held me up. I'm not a counselor, a pastor or a doctor. I'm a friend who has been there.

When you're ready for more

Later on, when you'd like a little more company on the road, there are courses. They're here whenever you want them, and never before. One lesson, on loneliness in grief, is free.
